Low Maintenance Watering and Humidity Needs
Say goodbye to complicated care routines! Whilst a humid room such as a kitchen or bathroom would be the sweet spot for this plant, if you’re able to boost the humidity with the help of a little humidifier you are able to place your coffee plant wherever you would like.
Only water when the top few centimetres is dry, it likes to have moist soil but not waterlogged.
Height & Growth Rate
Moderate to fast growers. Will typically reach maturity within 3-5 years.
Mildly Toxic
The plant contains a small amount of caffeine in its leaves and a substantial amount of caffeine in its flowers and cherries. It can be problematic for small animals such as cats, rodents, birds and young children if digested due to the amount of caffeine their bodies can tolerate and cause an upset stomach along with other symptoms.
